Food was amazing, very much needed for a hot beach day. Service was above and beyond. I wish I could remember our waiters name, he was Latino and had glasses. He was super attentive, charismatic, and a great guy. We got the grilled shrimp and Guinness burger. Price point was fair. Only critic I have is that I didn't really like the sweet tea, I think it was Pure Leaf tea but that's just my personal taste.
Great spot. Exclusive to High Point guests or beach walk ups. Great fresh local catch served up alongside the classics (burger, shrimp, etc) ate here all week with a large family and 0 disappointments. Cocktail menu is deep and delicious. Blackberry pina colada was a hit. Steve is the epitome of a great small business owner. Ever present, first to arrive bringing in the fish for the day, entertaining for the kids and guests. Bar and food service is sho kingly fast considering the size of the kitchen, very impressive.
The food/drinks & atmosphere was great; Delicious & so laid-back, relaxing; But almost more important - all of the wait staff, hosts, etc made me feel so 'at home', taken care of; Not only was everyone friendly & gave excellent service, but all seemed to go the extra mile; I'd misplaced my sunglasses - realized it just as I was about to leave - and everyone seemed to just stop & help, like it was their own sunglasses missing; They were all so bummed when the glasses were nowhere to be found - I just thought that was so sweet!! ....And it wasn't like business was slow at the time - - they were slammed with customers! They just made me feel at home & that meant a lot!! The sunglasses finally did turn up, & the few folks I was able to go back and let know were SO glad; It was just a nice, welcome experience! ...As well as the super food, delish drinks & relaxing ambiance! :) Thanks Crabby Steve's!!! ....Make it your new local 'dive'!! We love Crabbys so much! We have been coming here for at least 12 years every summer & it’s the most fresh seafood with a fun, beachy vibe, right on the water. The staff are so friendly and we always have great service. We eat here multiple meals throughout the week. From fresh fish and seafood to salads, wraps and cocktails, it’s all delicious. Can’t recommend it enough!
This in my opinion is one of the best beach restaurants on 30-A. The food is consistently phenomenal, the service is good and the view is unbeatable.
I just noticed Mr. Griffin's review of Crabby Steve's; note that this is Crabby Steve's. Regardless if the owner is in a good mood or is in a frustrated mood does not take away from the Excellence of the food found at this perfectly located restaurant. Not only has my experience at this restaurant been excellent from the wait staff, to the owner to the quality of the food and drinks, but I think it says a lot about a place when they remember you from last summer and Summers before. Last but not least, the views are unbeatable!
This is a favorite of ours every year. Access is from the beach only unless you’re staying at the resort.. The food is good always a great tropical vibe. The staff is always energetic and quick. The drinks are On point. Above average. The view is unbelievable. The best on 300A
